PIEDMONT FIREARMS SAFETY AND SURVIVAL

WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS

Safety is our main concern

No ammo or firearms allowed in classroom for students!!!

You may bring your unloaded firearm in a range bag or any other appropriate container to the range when we go to qualify.  Second, the gear you bring depends on what type of class you are taking. I will send you an email to let you know what type of gear you will need for class.  If you are taking a Concealed Carry,  Basic Pistol, or any class that involves shooting you need to bring a safe and reliable functioning firearm along with 50 rounds or more of ammunition, ear and eye protection depending on the class.

If you don't have a firearm, ammo, ear and eye protection we will have some for you to rent (22 cal) while you are qualifying on the range.  ($25.00 rental fee)

Dress appropriately for the weather and for shooting.  Men and women should wear long pants or shorts (depending on class) with pockets for spare magazines or ammunition.  You may wear sneakers or boots but no flip flops or sandals.  You may wear a hat to protect your eyes from trapping hot cartridges behind your eye protection, and it protects your eyes from the glaring sun. Sweatshirts, pullovers, jackets or anything else that can get in the way, or dangle inside the trigger guard, or get in the way of safely shooting is prohibited, and you may have to tuck loose shirts in also. We will break for lunch.

If you have any special needs or relevant medical disabilities or conditions we will work with you in class and on the range.  We want you safe, capable, competent, and successful during class.

Email us if you have any questions.
